I’ve spent a year coming to Yecheon on business trips and have even stayed in nearby Yeongju. After trying all the motels in Yecheon, I finally found the best one. Maybe it’s because there’s a sauna, but stepping into the warm room was a relief. The awful stay I had last week at the B&B across the street melted away like snow. The facilities are a little dated, but 50,000 won for a weekend stay feels worth it. The rooms are roomy and parking is plentiful. For the rest of my time staying in Yecheon, this is my top choice.

Right in the center of Yecheon and easy to get to. Guests can use the public bathhouse for free. It was clean, and the service was good.

The facilities look a little old, but I didn’t have trouble using them. Overall, the amenities, convenience, and service were all fine. A nice perk is free use of the bathhouse when you stay here. Maybe because there’s a newly built motel diagonally across the street, the price was a bit lower. I paid 40,000 won for one night on a weekday.

I went there to make a reservation, and the woman who seemed to own the place got really angry about the customer being underage. She yelled at me, the new guy, saying things like, "What are you doing? Why are you speaking so quietly? There are no rooms!" She threw a fit and caused me a lot of stress. She was wearing a mask and said things like, "I couldn't hear you, but I was quiet." I’ll never use this place again.

The room is roomy and clean, and the interior looks remodeled, though the outside makes the building seem old. The bathroom feels chilly, so it would probably be cold to shower there in winter, but the hot water works well enough. I wish they’d taken out the awkward sofa and put in twin beds. The mirrors at the front and back of the bed feel a bit much, and the floor seems to vibrate. Still, it’s decent overall.
