Ritz Seoul Hotel

The room and shower were very clean, and the staff were really helpful during my few days here.

It was easy to get around from this convenient location, and the separate smoking area was a nice touch so non-smokers could still enjoy the hotel’s amenities. The room was very clean, and the bedding was especially comfortable, which helped me sleep well. All the staff were friendly and made the stay pleasant.

The room had a computer, jacuzzi, and the things I needed, plus Netflix and other OTT services. You could connect them to the TV, though I may have missed how, so the small monitor was a bit disappointing. There’s a convenience store 3 minutes away, and the subway station was about 10 minutes away. Parking was good, too. It had smoking and non-smoking rooms, so I chose to try a smoking room for the first time. It smelled like cigarettes, and ventilation was a pain. I’d definitely recommend avoiding those rooms, and asking for a non-smoking one. It’s been a while since I’d been to Seoul, and maybe it was vacation season, but accommodation prices were... haha. I looked around and picked this place because it was cheap. It’s fine for a simple stay if the price is low.^^

The room was spacious, which was nice, and the low off-season price might make it decent enough if you’re staying on the cheap. But the facilities are outdated, and dust was visible in every corner. Smoking is allowed in all the rooms, leaving the wallpaper and furniture stained with cigarette grime. The building sits right beside a railway, so you can clearly hear the subway passing. It says hotel, but it reads more like a motel.
