I stayed here in 2017 on my first trip to South Korea. Nobody was there when I arrived to check in, but they sent instructions through Kakaotalk. It was quick and easy to follow. Since I got there before check-in, I wandered around the neighborhood. It was nice, lively at night, and close to Hongik University, the train station, and shopping. I liked staying here because it was quiet.

The 2nd Branch was a total nightmare. It was the dirtiest and noisiest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. There weren’t any staff there, just one volunteer who couldn’t help much. I’ve stayed in lots of hostels while travelling, and this was the worst.

Cute, clean room. It’s in a busy shopping area with plenty of good food, and the price is acceptable.

Really, really cheap for a hotel in korea. It was a nice spot for a girl travelling backpacker-style. The location is good, near hongdae street, with lots of shops close by.
