House Sarah In Dongdaemun Market 3

It felt like staying in a little IKEA show home, very cute and fully equipped.

The host gave us friendly, helpful instructions, and we were happy with the facilities and service. Our room was spacious and clean, with towels, body wash, shampoo, and beds for everyone. The heating and air conditioning worked well, and the bathroom water pressure was good. Dongdaemun's busy area is a little way off, though. The older upper bunk creaked, and some kitchenware was disappointing, including a chipped cup and old pots.

You could cook in the guesthouse kitchen, and the rooftop terrace had a direct view of Namsan Tower. The landlord was very nice and quick to answer messages. The place was close to the subway, so transfers were easy, and Dongdaemun was nearby too. Even so, the area wasn't noisy.

The room was comfortable, clean, and well equipped, and the landlord could communicate easily in English. This worked especially well for groups going to Dongdaemun to buy wholesale goods, since it's just a three-minute walk. We saved quite a bit on taxi fares too.
