Sunvalley Hotel Yeoju

The room was okay overall, but for the price it wasn't worth it, and I felt cheated. I booked a Deluxe double room through Agoda. The photos showed a bathtub and chairs with a table, but our room had no bathtub or table, and nobody explained why.

A very basic hotel with the essentials we needed. The rooms were decent and the views nice. The lobby is massive, though I couldn't figure out why it needed to be so big.

Quiet location and good rooms.

The dining room is on the 13th floor, and even through the morning fog we had a magnificent view over the river toward the water park, which was closed for the season. Breakfast was included, with plenty of choice for picky eaters, and both the food and service were very good. I would like to come back in summer when the whole facility is open. It looked interesting, and the jimjilbang should be open then too. We arrived after a long, cold ride on a stretch of the Four Rivers bicycle path and parked our bicycles in the underground car park before collecting our room keys in the lobby. That lobby is impressive, with a vaulted ceiling and tasteful decor. Our rooms were spacious and well-appointed. Having recently stayed at a Seoul hotel that supplied only two small towels per person, I spotted the housekeeping cart outside and got two full-size bath towels for us. Our friends weren't as lucky.
