Yeoju Reverse Hotel

For a quick overnight stop on the 4-Rivers trail, the location by the water in this beautiful town works well. It's close to the route, and a pedestrian bridge is being built right beside the hotel that will lead directly to Silleuksa Temple. The rooms are small, plain, and clean, with no extras. Coffee and noodles are available in the lobby. The elevator is too small for bikes, so they have to be carried upright; there's a parking area where bikes can apparently be locked up. Check-in is automated at a kiosk in the little lobby beside the elevator: enter your card details and room type, and it gives you a key card. There's nobody at the counter. Also, the name is "Rivers," not "Reverse." It's a basic automated hotel, probably fine for cyclists stopping for one night, but not ideal for families or other vacationers.

I paid 60,000 won for a premium room with a lovely river view. The new pedestrian bridge outside was lit up in the evening, too. This is a small, new, clean hotel with really friendly service, and I was glad I chose it over the huge hotel nearby. There are covered racks for bikes, plus free water, coffee, and instant frames. It's on the Cross Country Bike Path, and it's the best hotel I've stayed at in Korea. I'd happily recommend it. Thanks to the staff!
