Blooming Pension

The way they treated me before I’d even booked was awful. They advertise a low price on the hotel booking site, but when I called with a question, they pushed me to pay through the site. When I said I’d book online, they warned there might be extra charges and basically told me to figure it out myself before hanging up. If this is how they deal with a potential guest, I can only imagine how they treat someone once the booking is made.

I paid 298,000 won for two nights in a duplex through Agoda, and it wasn’t worth it. The photos are misleading, the owner wasn’t friendly, and there’s nothing nearby, so you need a car to get around. There was only enough food for two, and the seasoning was a little weak. Even 50,000 won a night would feel like too much. Book it if you want to end up regretting it.

The bedding felt unclean, and it left me itchy and stinging throughout my stay. The owner was unfriendly too, and the way the extra charges were handled made me really uncomfortable. I’m glad I’m leaving tomorrow. If they asked me back, I wouldn’t stay even for free haha. Just so you know~~~

The price felt high, and the room didn’t quite match what I’d seen on the blog. There wasn’t a proper room number, just the room name, and no view. The road up is steep. Also, no toothpaste and the lighting was disappointing.
