Hotel Haven

There’s a 24-hour CU store at the end of the corner, and a restaurant on the third floor. The second floor has the swimming pool and bar, as well as a breakfast buffet that starts at 7:30 a.m. with both Asian and Western food. The hotel is well located in Yeosu City, near the shipyard, and the rooms are very quiet. If you agree with my review, give it a like!

The view is hard to beat, and the beds were so comfortable. It’s a cozy coastal getaway, with rooms that were perfect even if they weren’t high tech or brand new. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and there were lots of families enjoying themselves. It was easy to get a taxi for pickup and drop-off, though the area isn’t very walkable. Having CU downstairs was handy too.

The pool was spotless, with shower and dryer facilities, and you get a great view of Geobukseon bridge from there. If you’re lucky, you might catch the periodic fireworks show not far away. Next to the pool, there’s a minibar where each room gets one glass of the hotel-brewed draft beer per stay, free. The hotel also has a 24/7 CU convenience store. In the room, the view faces the bridge and looks especially nice in the evening. The room was neat and well designed, with a clean, spacious toilet. The bathing towels were clean but a bit worn. It’s a good hotel.

A hotel by the river makes for a lovely view, and the place was quiet with hardly any noise. South Korea is a great place to visit solo.
