The room was on the small side, but even with a lot of luggage I didn’t find it especially inconvenient. The building’s interior design was charming, and the bedding and room contents were clean, neat, and warm. The owner was very kind and seemed attentive to the no-smoking policy. When booking, be aware that the name is similar to Shilla Stay and could cause confusion. A taxi to Romantic Pocha Street takes about 15 to 20 minutes. The parking lot is a bit cramped, which can make parking or pulling out inconvenient.

I booked two rooms after remembering a good visit three years ago, but this stay was disappointing. The ondol room’s heating didn’t work properly. My two older sisters, one in her late 50s and the other in her 70s, tossed and turned all night. We kept being told, “We’re keeping the fire burning,” but it stayed cold until checkout. I wore sleeping socks and stuck three hand warmers to my back and stomach. Only the heating line was slightly warm, so even a small move put me on a cold part of the floor. If you stay in winter, check the floor before paying. You could leave feeling creaky.

The owners made me feel very welcome and were really friendly. The room was spacious, with clean bedding and a really clean bathroom. There were lots of towels, and plenty of convenient amenities nearby, so I was very satisfied. I highly recommend it.

The remodeling looks good, and the owner is friendly. The facilities aren’t especially bad, but the TV and air conditioner are older models. The bedding is clean, though it’s also an older product and doesn’t match the exterior. It’s an average place, so you could be disappointed if you book based only on how the outside looks. Also, the second-floor bathroom has a bit of a smell, so booking an upper floor may be better.
