The staff have been polite and very accommodating during the couple weeks I’ve stayed here. The hotel has some city charm, the bathroom is almost spa-like, and valet parking is free. The beds are thin and very uncomfortable. The mattresses and pillows are kept in waterproof liners with no airflow, so I sweat even with the room at 70 degrees. The room loses power when you leave, meaning it’s hot and humid when you return. You also can’t charge electronics unless your key is left in the holder by the entrance. There’s no laundry and no breakfast. Rooms aren’t cleaned daily unless you request it during the day, so if you work nights, forget about it. My toilet seat was broken, and the shower head fell off its wall mount.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in: the staff were unkind and the conditions unsanitary. Even the staff said they couldn’t do anything about the cigarette smell. I don’t think I’d stay here again, even if I had the chance.

I’ve stayed here a few times, but the last two visits were bad. Every night at 23:30, doors started slamming and people were screaming in the hall. I went out to see what was happening, and it was the cleaning staff, not other guests. Why they had to make that noise in the middle of the night, I don’t know. The next day we asked to move away from the staff area. They put us in a room that smelled so strongly of smoke that we left the window open and had to leave the room. We complained at the front desk. While we were out for the day, someone closed the window, and when we got back the smell was even worse. Each day, it got stronger after we’d been out for a while. We suspected the cleaning staff smoked in the toilet, where the smell was worst. We saw a cigarette on their trolley. They didn’t refill the coffee every day. We stayed 7 days and got only 4 sachets for 2 people, with no spoon to stir it. The bedding was stained and dirty, the duvet cover had holes, and the mattress was worn out so badly we kept rolling back into a dip. They supplied one bath towel, sometimes 2 or 3 face towels, so we had to share the bath towel after showering. The underfloor heating was too hot, with no control panel to turn it off. We tried cooling the room with the aircon, but it was dripping water. The cups were only rinsed, not replaced with clean ones. Photos attached. It’s near the terminal, so finding somewhere to eat isn’t a problem. The spot at the crossing was a bit noisy because of traffic.
