On my way to Yongin, I stopped here and was shocked by the cigarette smell in the room. It may be called a hotel, but it felt like a motel once I got there. They say there’s a standard occupancy, then charge an extra 15,000 won per person on site for every two guests, whether the guests are adults or children and regardless of what the booking site says. They told me the charge is separate from the reservation site.
I hadn't expected to find a place like this. The price is great, the facilities are good, and the location feels private. There's a convenience store right across from it, plus a coffee lounge, so it feels like a real bargain.
The room was neat, and that huge window made it so bright in the morning once I opened the curtains. I didn't even need to switch the lights on, haha. The room I had may not be typical, but its bathroom was roomy and had a pretty design.
The twin room seems especially good here, even though motels can all seem alike. There are two beds, so you can hang out on one and sleep on the other. I think it's a clean, pleasant place for the price.
I barely slept because of the mosquitoes. Maybe they got in when I opened the window to clean. Those autumn mosquitoes are nasty.
