Al-Muhana Chalets

The chalet was spacious, and the sea view was amazing. Everything was neat and clean, and the staff were great. A perfect setup for a family weekend. Salute to the team.

People don't respect the surroundings and leave pollution behind. The whole place feels like a courtyard now, and what used to be for families has become a joke. It has a party crowd and an annoying atmosphere when you're there with family. Not a good choice for families.

I've been coming to these chalets for quite a while. They're fairly private, tucked away from prying eyes, family friendly, wheelchair accessible, and there's lots of parking. You can smoke indoors or outside, and barbecue if you bring your own charcoal. The beach is only a few steps away, with a garden pool shared by ten chalets and an outdoor play area. The biggest draw is the price: daily rent is remarkably low, about half what other places in the area charge. The compound has eight "avenues" with ten chalets each. Each chalet has three floors and an elevator, and there's plenty of room for 10-15 people. Downstairs there's a living room and bathroom, sometimes with a small bedroom for kids. The second floor has another living room, one or two bedrooms, a big kitchen and bathroom. Four more bedrooms and a bathroom are on the top floor. Cleaning could be better. Plan to clean the kitchen and bathrooms yourself, and I don't think the sheets are dry-cleaned regularly. Some TVs and other appliances or furniture were broken and hadn't been repaired, so check everything before settling in and tell management what you find. You don't want to be charged for damage you didn't cause. Also pack extension cords if you have gadgets to charge, since there's only one outlet in each room. It's a great place to visit.

We own an apartment in the complex and rent it out. It has a lovely direct beach view, and staying there makes for a fun long weekend with family and friends.
