Ramada Encore by Wyndham Kuwait Downtown

At the Encore breakfast buffet, the food and atmosphere were lovely, and every bite was delicious. From the moment we arrived, it felt so good we could have stayed all day. I’d definitely come back. Thanks again to Wilmalyn and the team.

The hotel itself is new and clean, but our stay had several problems. We’d booked a room for two with separate beds through the website. At check-in, the receptionist immediately offered an upgrade for 10 KD, which I hadn’t asked for, then said our booking was for a smoking room with one bed, contrary to what we selected. We were put on a men-only floor even though we were two women staying alone. Hotels usually put women or families on family floors. The reception staff weren’t helpful, and room service was poor. We got only two bottles of water, not every day, and the tissue box wasn’t replaced when it ran out. Hot water took a long time to come through, and we could hear water noises from the next room’s bathroom. That was our experience.

Dibakar at reception upgraded us to a suite during check-in, and it was huge, had all the facilities, and offered marvelous views. The highlight, though, was the view from the rooftop bar. I stayed at the Ramada Encore in Kuwait, and I’m already missing the room as I write this.

The room was spacious and comfortable, the hotel was spotless, and the gym was well equipped. I stayed at Hotel Ramada Encore for a month and was impressed throughout. The restaurant food was delicious, and the staff there were attentive and always happy to accommodate requests. Reception was friendly and efficient, while housekeeping kept my room tidy. More than anything, the welcoming atmosphere made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. I’d highly recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a comfortable, friendly place to stay. Five stars don’t feel like enough. Thanks, Ramada Encore, for a wonderful month.
