I told my company about the problems here and recommended they take Sheraton Kuwait off their preferred hotel list. There are better places in Kuwait that treat guests more professionally and make them comfortable. The parking was a headache every day, and management offered no solution after I raised it. In my room, an attendant kept interrupting my downtime with requests, including turndown service I hadn’t asked for. It was hard to get basic privacy. Breakfast was cold each morning, and I only learned after arriving that visitors aren’t allowed in guest rooms. That restriction wasn’t clearly explained beforehand. Housekeeping also left garbage behind after servicing the room. The floor didn’t seem to be vacuumed daily. I kept stepping on thorns and hurting my feet, and one day I stepped on what looked like a metal tack. I don’t know where they came from, but it was unpleasant. Management got in touch the day before I left to address issues from my first day, nine days earlier. That was far too late.

Women aren’t allowed to use this hotel’s fitness center. Other hotels in Kuwait are more progressive and provide fitness space for women.
