I had a really good stay at Magic Suite Mahbulah. The rooms were in great shape and well looked after, and the staff were friendly. Mr.Mahmud at reception was especially polite and helpful. I’d recommend staying here for a short visit to Kuwait.

The laundry left me with wet clothes that hadn’t been ironed, and some of my clothes went missing. I can only guess what happened, whether they got mixed into someone else’s laundry or the laundrette had some strange interest in them. We also asked the receptionist about washing machine facilities and kept getting the same answer, “we will give it to you tomorrow,” but nothing ever came of it. The elevators are another serious concern. There are three, but only two work. The one that doesn’t work properly can trap passengers, and this afternoon it shot from the G floor to the 24th floor without stopping at the floors people had selected. As part of the former ILO team, I was very concerned. I assume the hotel isn’t following the international practice of servicing elevators at least every three months. Does management need a serious accident or a death before it fixes this system? There are problems with the way guests are treated, too. Staff seem uncaring and unfriendly, and customers share concerns about the elevators and their safety. I don’t know how hotel management works in Kuwait, but in countries that depend on tourism, hotels tend to focus on accommodation quality and service. Guests can spread the word and help a hotel, but I don’t see that happening here. I hope the management makes changes so the hotel can remain sustainable. It seems to me that there’s no Quality Management Departement, and the hotel is a long way from excellent quality. Please hire competent, friendly employees who respond to guest requests and suggestions. A hotel is meant to serve its customers. Please pay attention and improve things for the hotel’s future. Thank you.

I stayed here for one month on a business trip arranged by my company, and I’m very happy with the service and amenities. Executive mr. Mahmoud abbas was especially helpful and cooperative.

A family friendly hotel in Kuwait, with peaceful surroundings and friendly staff. The pool and the areas around it are clean and well maintained.
