Magic Tower

The manager kept interrupting me and repeating that his system showed a studio when I tried to explain I had booked a one-bedroom with a kitchen. He wouldn’t listen and had no customer service skills. Instead of finding a solution, he told me to call and cancel the remaining days. A manager should make guests comfortable and want to return. He was very rude. Nothing in my reservation said studio. If I’d known it was a studio, I wouldn’t have booked. I reserved a one-bedroom with a kitchen, but there was no kitchen. The floor was dirty, the beds weren’t properly cleaned, the sheets had stains, the pillows were yellow, the toilet had no seat, and there were no towels. The TV didn’t work because the cable couldn’t reach the socket. I asked a staff member about it, and he walked away without a word. I thought he was getting an extension cord, but he never came back. The microwave wasn’t clean either, and I’d have had to take it out and carry it to the floor by the door to plug it in. The building has a lot of potential, but under the current management, if you rent a studio, at least make it look like one instead of a homeless shelter.

The parking is congested, though the staff were helpful and cordial. The rooms were in poor condition, looked poorly maintained, and had zero cleanliness.

The AC has been out for three days, and it’s really difficult to stay in this summer heat ☀️. We told the manager on the first day, and he said he’d informed the AC technician and they would come. The problem still hasn’t been fixed. Poor service.

The receptionists weren’t helpful, and there was no washing machine. There are three elevators: one was broken, another jammed, and the last one was crowded. I had to wake up early every day to get an elevator in the morning, then wait an hour to reach my room. This accommodation was provided by the Ministry of Health Kuwait for new employees for three months, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
