Leaders Plaza Salmiya

We got a large apartment with plenty of amenities: a spacious hall and living area, a small master bedroom, a good-sized kitchen, three bathrooms, a washing machine, ironing board, fridge, microwave, kettle, and coffee and tea maker. The location is great, the staff were friendly, especially at reception when we checked in, and with a super discount through a booking app it was good value for what I paid. The main problem was the towels. There weren’t any in the apartment. When I asked, they brought two hand towels and said the bath towels were still at the laundry and would arrive by 6pm. I went out and came back in the evening, but there were still no bath towels. Around 11pm, after I called again, someone brought one hand towel and said the larger ones would be there in ten minutes. They never came. Reception then said the towels still hadn’t arrived from the laundry, and they never did. Why not set two aside for my room when the laundry delivery came, knowing I’d asked that afternoon? I waited another 20 minutes, still with no towels. The hotel also needs some maintenance. A sink pipe in one bathroom leaked, and the sofa was stained. Otherwise, it was a good experience.

The hotel itself is very good, but the receptionist behaved very badly and had way too much attitude.

We stayed one night at this wonderful hotel in Salmiya. The price was good for the hotel, and it was clean and quiet in a beautiful location. The service was kind and respectful.

For 35 KD, about 170 Australian dollars, we got a two-bedroom apartment for two adults and two kids. It had two bathrooms, three toilets, a full kitchen, and a massive lounge room. You get what you pay for, and what more could you want?
