George Town Villas by Cayman Villas

The snorkeling here is excellent, with plenty of marine life and beautiful fish, and there’s a wreck a few hundred yards away. Just know there isn’t a sandy beach, it’s crushed white coral, tidal pools, and then a reef-like formation going into the bay. You can get in quickly, and there’s a ladder for getting back out. This is a nice, tucked-away condo complex with great views and pools. The grounds are clean and well kept, and security patrols regularly.

The beach was great and felt very private, about a 15-minute walk from the cruise terminal. There are rocks in the water, so bring water shoes. There aren’t any bathrooms, and the Georgetown Villas beside the beach are private condos, so their facilities aren’t available for public use. A local bus comes by often and costs $2. Just flag one down along the main road. Drivers also beep as they pass to check if you need a ride.

You can swim straight off the property and onto an amazing coral reef. The villas have beautiful views and are close to everything you want on 7 mile Beach. In my opinion, it’s hard to beat!

Our villa is great, with two bedrooms and two baths, plus grills, a pool, and beach access. The beach is rocky, but good for snorkeling. It’s a friendly, safe location, and Kirks Market is a 5-10 minute walk away. Each unit is individually owned, so they’ll vary.
