Villas of the Galleon

This property had everything my family and I needed for a comfortable, relaxing vacation, and we're already hoping to return next year and make it our regular spot. It's a great budget-friendly option, close to several restaurants, shops, and, of course, beautiful Seven Mile Beach. The place was clean, well maintained, and clearly cared for. We just got back from a wonderful stay.

I've visited Grand Cayman more than 20 times, and this is among the best places I've stayed. The condo was fully equipped and the staff were very helpful. We spent a week here in November as three couples, and the location is hard to beat, right between the Ritz and Westin. Plenty of shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

The beach setting is beautiful, and each well-built unit is positioned to give everyone a great view.

The only thing that bothered us was people claiming beach chairs early and leaving them unused for hours. One morning, towels were on the chairs beside us at 6:00 am, but the people didn't turn up until 5:00 pm. That's unacceptable. Still, we'd definitely return. Villas of the Galleon had one of the nicest beaches we've visited, and despite people saying the beach by the Marriott had washed away, that definitely wasn't the case here. We were in unit #26 for 10 days at the beginning of May. The unit was spectacular, very clean, and well equipped, and we watched sunsets from the balcony. Judith from housekeeping took wonderful care of us, and Leslie, the property manager, was helpful too. Everyone was friendly. Andrew, the security guard, was always around, which was nice, though the property already seemed very safe.
