Snorkeling is worth a look here: swim a little way out and there are loads of fish. The beach is big for a Seven Mile Beach property, though there’s some coral in the water, so water shoes might help. We stayed in #32, which worked really well for our family of four, with an enclosed upstairs bedroom and bathroom. The pool was nice, too. Island Pines Villas is close to lots of restaurants and an easy walk from Fosters grocery, so we didn’t need a rental car. Coral Beach is right next door and has half-price appetizers from 4-6 during happy hour.

The residents and the taxi and bus drivers were super friendly and helpful. The host was good and communication was excellent, too. We paid 1550.00 for six nights in September 2024 through booking.com, though I couldn’t seem to post a review there. The unit was clean and average, but needed some cosmetic repairs. Bring your own soap and coffee. It was very hot, and I sweated my ass off. The washer and dryers weren’t clean and cost $$$ to use. The pool was clean, but the beach had washed away and wasn’t usable. Apparently that happened within the last few months, and the next door Palm resort had washed away into the ocean and closed. If you’re after a beach resort, this isn’t the place. The resorts with a nice beach are farther north and very costly, 500+ per night. There are plenty of local shops, stores, restaurants, and a grocery nearby, though some take a 15-30 minute walk or a bus to reach. Everything is very expensive at GC: a case of beer was 50.00, and groceries were at least 40% more than in the US, even with 2024 inflation. We didn’t find any beach bars on the island. My wife and I stayed in #25 for a few days.

The staff were really friendly and happy to help with questions or concerns. We spent eight days at Pine Villas and found it clean and cozy, just the right size for two. The kitchen was fully functional and even had spices. We’ll definitely come back!

I was here for a month and would stay again. The location is the main thing, close to everything, including the front beach.

Heather was an amazing host, and the location was perfect.
