One Canal Point

Mornings with coffee, looking out over the canal at sunrise, were a lovely part of our stay. We were on the ground floor, and the view was beautiful. The suite looked stunning inside and out, and we loved it. The pool was amazing, and the hot tub really was nice and hot each night, which is rare. Communication with Chantelle and Lisa was flawless. The one drawback is having to cross a busy road to reach the beach. It’s doable, but not with kids. A crosswalk there would be great someday. Apart from that, we loved the place.

The pool area is the one reason I can’t give this a 5 overall. It didn’t look as nice as the pictures online, and the old, ripped pool loungers weren’t inviting. Updating that space could make it much more appealing to return; right now it feels like a wasted opportunity and doesn’t make you want to hang out there. The rest of our stay at One Canal Point was excellent. The apartments are spacious and modern, with comfortable beds, though the pillows are very lumpy and could use an update. Shower pressure is very low. The kitchen has everything you’d need, including a water filter jug, and beach chairs are provided. It’s quiet, with helpful, friendly staff. The location is convenient, a short walk to the beach and a short drive to the supermarket and many restaurants. The gym is pretty decent for a complex, with lots of free weights and enough for a good session. Thanks for an excellent stay overall!

We had a great family stay at One Canal. The kids loved the pool and hot tub, while we appreciated the secure, modern facilities. The kitchen was nice, and everything was comfortable. We had a car and found the location very central.

Our two-bedroom place had a canal view and was in a great location, away from the crowds. It was a quiet, very chill and upscale property. Lisa, the property manager, was easy to work with. We’d definitely stay here again.
