Sunset Cove

The sunset spot is a real highlight. You can snorkel around the rocks, then sit nearby and watch the sun go down. The beach itself is quieter and more tucked away behind the private condos, though it’s coarser than SMB’s powdery sand and has iron shore and rocks. There’s a manmade rock pool too, which makes for a nice change of scene. The sea view is great, and the beach is only 2m from your condo. By the pool there’s also a pool bar and an outdoor BBQ area. We lived here many years ago and found it to be a friendly community. If you’re staying here, keep in mind that the best of Seven Mile Beach isn’t really accessible from this stretch, so you’ll need to go out the front rather than along the beach. Locals, the condo facilities aren’t for visitors, and security will ask you to leave. But everyone’s welcome at the bar, Lazy Lizard, where tourists and locals can hang out. Jan the bartender is the best!
