Silver Sands Condominiums

We’re the Frazier family. My mother-in-law, suzan frazier, has been coming here since my husband was 7, and now he’s 43. We have four children and were hoping to come spend time with our family, but there isn’t volleyball there anymore? We love playing volleyball!!

We found Unit #38 to be a real gem on our first trip to Grand Cayman. The management team was kind, and the property was maintained impeccably. There’s great beach access and a nice pool, with a handy location for popular spots on the West End and places all the way down to George Town. Even a day trip to North Side/Rum point didn’t feel like a chore. Silver Sands was excellent value, and we’d gladly stay again. Book it!

Our family bought a condo at Silver Sands in 2010, and we’ve just started renting it with others as #silversands16. We’ve been coming to Cayman since the mid-1990s: first with our parents as teenagers, and now my brothers and I bring our own kids. It’s a family favorite and a real Cayman gem. There’s plenty of room to play or unwind on the beach and around the pool. The kids climb the sea grape tree, chase lizards, and play beach volleyball and bocce, while we love the tropical garden, pool and gazebo. We snorkel and dive, and from the beach it’s easy to reach Cemetery Reef and Mitch Miller Reef. The spot feels naturally pristine, and it’s one of the top places for sea turtles to mate and lay eggs. Silver Sands is quiet and serene just north of the busier parts of Seven Mile Beach, but close enough when you want to go out.

On our seventh Grand Cayman trip, we finally found this hidden gem on Seven Mile beach. After six previous visits, I didn’t expect this one to be our luckiest and best, but it absolutely was. Gwenda was fantastic with all the detailed planning for what felt like a once-in-a-lifetime vacation. The grounds were very well kept, the maintenance team was top-notch, and the beach was incredible. We’re already talking about another trip. I highly recommend Gwenda for a Grand Cayman visit!
