The coffee on the first floor was a real highlight. That floor also has a basic gym with most of what you need for a workout, and reception, where Alua was great. She knows the area well, speaks English fluently, and gave me useful ideas for places to visit, which made the trip more enjoyable. My room was spotless when I arrived and housekeeping cleaned it every day, with fresh towels. I also appreciated that the fabric code for the safe had been changed. That's an unusual touch and reassuring if you're careful about security. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner were inedible, though there were a few exceptions now and then.

I was there for work, and the hotel was lovely and clean. Room 312, where I was first put, felt cramped, had a very high window, and was noisy from the extraction units. I moved rooms and was much happier. The staff were very helpful. The gym is great, though using it made us feel a bit like an inconvenience. People kept watching us as if we weren't supposed to be there.

I came for an international table tennis tournament, as an international umpire, for a special occasion. The hotel is clean. I saw two types of room: one with a king bed that was big enough, and another with two small beds that was tiny. My only issue is the distance from the city center, about half an hour to get there. 🙂

A bit of a distance from the airport, but I had a great experience.
