There's plenty of room in the lobby and on each floor if you'd rather not stay in your room. The hotel is clean, well located, and reasonably priced. If you extend, you can negotiate the rate. The shower barely has any pressure, and the beds are so hard they make your back sore. The hotel has seen better days. Wifi is a bit poor, and having to register and connect at the front desk feels odd. Breakfast is average at best, with no fresh juice, old fruit, and few processed options to choose from. Only a few staff speak English, though Google Translate helps. The cleaner will come into your room whether you want her to or not.

The location is excellent, and the distinctive Soviet-style architecture may appeal to anyone interested in art and history. The hotel has definitely seen better days.

The location is great, right across from the park and cathedral, and breakfast was good. The rooms were clean, but the shower was terrible. Getting WiFi means having your device registered at the front desk.

We finished our 5 Stans tour with Lupine Travel here. The hotel has a spacious, Soviet-like feel, with dark hardwood furniture, and there are water stations on every floor. You can walk to places to eat. The WiFi setup is odd and you have to go through reception. They can order an airport taxi for you about 10 minutes before you leave, so no need to worry about arranging one.

The breakfast was good and the view was nice, but that didn't make up for the price. Our shower didn't work, the doors wouldn't lock, and the hotel seemed a bit run-down overall.
