Nature View Almaty Domik Aua Chalet

The view was beautiful, and since we were celebrating my birthday, we tried to focus on being in the mountains and enjoying the change of scenery. Still, I wouldn’t recommend TAU House. There are nicer glamping places near Almaty for about the same price. The room felt dirty, not like it had been carefully cleaned. It smelled a little musty when we arrived, so we opened the window and left it open all day. The room was incredibly worn, nothing like the Instagram photos. Even taking a shower felt a bit unpleasant. The projector was in terrible shape, held together with napkins and tape. The bathroom ceiling trim had a hole, and the door handle and lock trim were missing. The woman who checked us in wasn’t very welcoming, and we have plenty to compare it with. It was really frustrating to find such a big gap between what we expected and what we got.

The mountain views are lovely, and everything is comfortable. TAU House feels a little worn, though, and the grounds could be better maintained.

The panorama is breathtaking. It feels like being on holiday in Switzerland. Gorgeous place.

The staff were inappropriate. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
