Glamping Apple Resort

The rooms have a cozy, relaxing feel, though they're dated and worn. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but it needs maintenance and better hospitality. We won't be coming back. Our room was pleasant and comfortable when we arrived, but it didn't look like the media photos and could use a tidy-up. There were dirty glasses and cups, no drinking water, and a dead insect on the bed. The owner apologized when we asked for clean glasses and sent the waiter to sort it out. We had payment trouble before arrival because of technical issues on the hotel's side. It was resolved, but when I asked about the process, I was met with an accusatory attitude. Staff were also rude, and the service was shocking. The restaurant was okay at first, but dinner on our second night was a mess. We were told our order would be 30 minutes late because the chef had gone into the city and was on his way back. Breakfast spills, including broken glass, were still on the floor, and tables hadn't been cleaned. We were the only diners for almost two hours. When we tried to order more tea, the waiter had disappeared. Someone at reception said the food would take seven minutes, but another 30 passed before it arrived: an uncooked burger, overdone fries, and cold veal medallions. We refused the burger and told the owner we wouldn't pay for the whole meal. He agreed not to charge us for any of it. At checkout, staff tried to bill us for that dinner, so the agreement hadn't been passed on or taken off the bill. We explained, and they accepted it.
