10/10
The room was spacious and had everything we needed, including a mini fridge, microwave, kettle, dining table, sofa, space heater and AC. It was clean, fairly quiet and well maintained. The hotel is especially good value if you’re just passing through Almaty, with convenient access to both the train station and airport. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. We arranged airport transfers both ways through the hotel, and there were no problems.

The staff didn’t speak much English, but they were friendly and helpful. My room was quiet and very clean. The common areas looked a bit ragged, and the WiFi didn’t work.

The room was warm and cozy, and they provided toothbrushes, shampoo, slippers and a towel. Breakfast was included in the price, with a choice of porridge or scrambled eggs. I liked it!

The shower wasn’t hot enough in the evening, though I was there in summer and didn’t really need it warmer. Otherwise, things were clean and tidy, the staff were polite, and breakfast was standard. They also provide a robe, which is a nice touch. Value for money: 5-(5-).
