My mom recently stayed at the Keremet hotel, and they cared for her like a member of the family. I want to thank the whole team and the owners for their hospitality. The food was great, the rooms were clean, and the service was great. It’s also in the city center. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay.

This was literally the worst place to stay in Almaty. Management seems not to care about complaints and is always away. Good luck finding any stuff during the day. Even the Keremet cleaners complain about their “bosses.” Two cleaners gave us good advice about where to stay at this price range.

The room was generally clean, but the bathroom ventilation brought a strong cigarette smell whenever I switched it on. The place was still being built when I stayed there, and some of the interior felt cheap and unsteady. There’s no elevator, so you have to haul your bags up a narrow staircase. It was okay apart from those issues.

The staff were pleasant and the hotel itself was nice, but I was charged 15.000 tengen / 40€ for a dirty towel. I couldn’t understand why one towel would cost as much as the room. It felt like a rip-off, and I left disappointed. To the owner’s response: I’m sure it was the Keremet Hotel.

A quiet place to come back to after sightseeing, and it’s right in the city center. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast had good coffee and tasty food. Prices were reasonable too. I had no complaints, everything was fine.
