The room itself was good, clean, and quite spacious, and it's near the mall. But the location pin wasn't accurate, so we spent time roaming around before finding the place. The checkout mess happened later: we checked out at 10 a.m. and came back at 3 p.m. for our luggage. The woman at the counter then said one of our small towels was dirty and demanded 20k. That felt ridiculous. They showed us the towel soaking in detergent, but we were sure we hadn't done that, and it looked like old dirt that wouldn't come out. I used Google Translate to say I'd read other guest reviews describing the same thing, and asked if this was a trick to make us pay, or a scam. She suddenly told us to leave. We took our bags and left very angry. I've stayed in thousands of hotels while traveling, and never encountered such a strange policy or staff.

They answered my call at 4 a.m. and accommodated me, which I really appreciated. The staff were polite and friendly, and the hotel and rooms were clean, tidy, peaceful, quiet, and cozy. All the amenities were there. I asked for a slightly later checkout, and they kindly agreed. A very good hotel, highly recommended.

There are lots of small restaurants nearby, and the kitchen makes it convenient and safe to cook for yourself. It's in the city center, a short walk from Dostyk Plaza. The only tricky part is getting in and out, since the gate password keeps changing.

Five months later, when I felt well enough to collect my things, management told me they had thrown them out. After I asked to speak with management, they blocked me on all messaging apps and social media. I'm immensely disappointed and will have to contact the relevant authorities to seek compensation. Be careful about leaving belongings here under any circumstances. I had arranged with management to store my bag and suitcase long-term, but illness kept me from retrieving them on time. They were kept on the hotel's enclosed balcony, and I regularly contacted management to remind them that my things were there.
