The room was recently renovated, and the kitchen, toilet, shower, and other amenities were all in good condition. We stayed three nights in a double room at the hostel at the end of the building, paying 36,000 tenge, and really liked it. All the utensils for cooking and eating were there. You can hear the neighbors clearly, though, and the windows wouldn’t close all the way. Special thanks to manager Saule, who was very helpful with my questions and always had advice.

We loved our vacation stay. The hostel apartment was bright, clean, and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Bus stops nearby made it easy to get around Almaty, and the area was nice for evening walks. The Botanical Garden, shopping malls, markets, and more are within walking distance. Hostel administrator Saule gave us directions and was very helpful. The service was excellent, it was fantastic!

The atmosphere was friendly, the place was clean, and service was quick. My friends and I stayed in both an apartment and a hostel, and we loved it. The receptionists handled our requests fast. Kuralai was wonderful, always responsive and available.

A real dump. The Booking.com photos are fake. It was dark and damp, the equipment was old, and there were loud noises from guests. The toilets and room doors had derogatory messages. Absolutely crap.

This place badly needs a major renovation. It was stuffy, damp, and really noisy. The girl at reception took me to a hostel around the corner, and that one turned out to be SUPER. Thank you very much, though unfortunately I was charged 4,000 tenge for refusing.
