Hotel Mercure Almaty City Center

Everything at the spa in this hotel felt just right on our first visit: it was clean and peaceful, and the staff were attentive. Sabina and Dana deserve special thanks for their professional treatments and golden hands. We left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. Highly recommended!

For any mothers who are breastfeeding and need a hotel in Almaty, I wanted to share my experience. I was visiting while breastfeeding and needed to preserve and store breast milk to take home for my baby. Hotel rooms are well known not to have freezers, so I was very grateful to Mark and Assem for helping with this. Mark went further and came up with solutions to the problem. He has what it takes to become a hotel manager. Thanks again, Mark, for making my stay easier.

I was very disappointed. There was a used razor in my shower when I entered the room, and they had checked me in with the wrong information. They might not have noticed the error if I hadn't ordered a taxi on my room account. While correcting the details, they gave me terms to sign that listed a different nationality, and still expected me to sign. Most of the staff seemed quite inexperienced, and the SPA needs an update.

I stayed in a Privilege Room and had an excellent experience. The room was really good, the facilities were great, and every staff member was lovely and smiling. Thank you all for making our stay wonderful.
