Sary Sai Boutique Hotel

The rooms were clean and spacious, with a good-sized bathroom. They looked after the basics too, with a hair dryer, fridge, kettle, and TV. My favorite detail was using the remote to open the electric curtains from bed and take in the amazing morning view. The property feels quite new, and the views from both the rooms and the property are stunning. It's cute and chic, and the staff were sweet and helpful. Tengis speaks fluent English and helped us a lot during our stay; the others don't speak English. Breakfast, included in the stay, had a decent selection and we mostly ate there. They also had morning yoga, which I sadly missed, and a bonfire at night where everyone could sit together. It's a fantastic stay and seriously underrated. We saw a one-star Google rating, but gave it a chance because the Booking.com ratings were better. I'd highly recommend it.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and modern, but the place felt more like a busy cafe or restaurant with huts than a boutique hotel. It's loud, and the service was basically nonexistent, even though the team were attentive when our hot water failed all weekend. They couldn't fix it. Breakfast isn't free: some menu items are, but the menus don't say which before you order. I wouldn't recommend it if you have dietary requirements. For these prices, you can get much better comfort and service elsewhere. It charges boutique hotel prices for what feels like a glamorous hostel.

The photos say plenty. The staff were great, the rooms clean, and the food excellent. It's also a perfect base for hiking nearby.

Loved the location and the food. The guy at reception was really friendly and helpful, and they can arrange cabs if you need one.
