Pretty average, and a little on the small side.

The nearby restaurants, pharmacies, and fruit shops were a nice surprise. I stumbled on this hotel by accident and was so pleased with it! The rooms are clean and have everything, almost like little apartments. I’d never seen a washing machine in a hotel room before, and those rooms especially impressed me. 10 out of 10!

There’s a supermarket downstairs, and the room itself was very clean. A taxi from the city center, at Ascension Cathedral, cost about 1200 tenge.

I’ve stayed at three hotels in Almaty, and this one was my favorite. It felt cozy, was clean, quiet, and had no odors. The mattress was soft, and the bathroom and shower had clearly been renovated. I also really liked how the staff welcomed me and said goodbye. The cleaning schedule is a little unclear, but when they do clean, they do a good job.
