The central location made getting around easy, and I had no trouble with my booking, which I made six days ahead since the hotel is in high demand. My room was clean and had everything I needed. The bed was especially comfortable, with fresh, spotless linens, and the service was on point. The staff were polite and professional. I’d happily stay here again.

I chose this hotel because it cost less than the other places I saw on booking. I stayed for three days. The rooms are on the small side, but they were clean and good, and the staff were polite and helped me understand how to get around Almaty.

For a short transfer, this place is decent. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city and within walking distance of lots of restaurants. Our room and toilet were neat and clean, and the staff helped us quickly with ice packs for my friend’s twisted ankle. There are some drawbacks: no TV, very slow Wi-Fi, a really small toilet, no bin in the room, and paper-thin walls with practically no soundproofing. For a longer stay, I’d look for somewhere with more space.

First off, this is a hostel, not a hotel. It’s 4-5 minutes from a bus stop, 15-20 minutes from the Metro, and 50-60 minutes from the city Center. The rooms are clean and tidy. The walls are so thin I could clearly hear the guy next door burping. There’s no TV, kettle, or fridge in the room, and the toilet is tiny. Sitting on the closet, I had to hug the sink. The AC wasn’t working well; we told reception, but they took no responsibility. They only accept Tenge, despite booking.com saying they take USD or EU. Credit cards are accepted, though.
