Zvezdnaya Eco-Hotel

The view makes the trip worthwhile, even though the hotel is a bit far from the city. Our suite had plenty of space for two adults and one child, and the capsule included smart home controls. The FO team and everyone else were professional and ready to help from check-in through checkout. We also booked horse riding through the hotel. Breakfast is à la carte. If you don’t mind the extra travel, it’s a good choice, and Yandex can get you there.

The smallest capsule room was enough for two people and one child, and the technology in the capsule was amazing. The staff were really helpful, and the view was beautiful. We were so happy to see the first snowfall of our trip there! It’s far from central amaty city, but the scenery makes it worth the distance. Breakfast was nice, and the restaurant has a good menu too. We loved the alfredo pasta. We’ll come back when we visit kazakhstan again 🤗

We came in early February, when it got down to around −15°C, and our capsule was well kept and comfortably warm. The room was compact but cozy and fit two people well. Each capsule has a little private porch for relaxing when the weather is good, and the views are lovely, whether you’re looking out toward the distant city or at the nearby mountains, by day or night. The eco-hotel is about an hour from Almaty Airport, so it’s a peaceful option if you want quiet. There’s also a children’s play area, a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, and convenient parking on site.

The ride from the airport was long, but the peaceful stay was worth it. Watching sunrise through the cabin wall in the morning was mesmerizing. The cleaning team did a perfect job, and the kitchen made tasty food, though there were fewer local options. Alikhan’s restaurant service was above excellent. At reception, Dustan Nudulet and Alikhan were all accommodating and quick to help.
