There's a great 24-hour café on the ground floor, with a varied menu and prices that are reasonable for Astana. The hotel is close enough to walk to the train station, and there's a bus stop nearby. Staff are friendly, the sheets and towels are bright white, and breakfast is decent. They started serving it earlier this year. The price is reasonable too.

My single room was small but really cozy, and had a toilet, sink, and shower. It was clean and fresh, as were the rooms generally, with white sheets and towels. Breakfast was included in the room price and was fantastic, thanks to the chefs. The staff were friendly. I'd recommend this place to anyone passing through, and thank the management and service staff.

The main drawback is that the hotel is about a 20-minute taxi ride from the city center. It's around a 10-minute walk from the train station, though, and good value. My single room cost 5,000 tenge a night, with a hearty breakfast included. It had a large bed, desk, shower, TV, refrigerator, and high-speed wireless internet.
