The staff were kind and friendly, and let me store my luggage when I arrived early. There's a small cafe for snacks, and I loved the raspberry tea. My room was a decent size. I booked one without a window, but I'd recommend getting one with a window for ventilation. Most monuments are within 5 km. The downsides stood out too. There's just one women's toilet on the ground floor, and it was usually occupied and not very clean by evening. There's no kitchen, so making your own food isn't an option. Staff gave me hot water for tea and cup noodles when I asked, but I felt awkward having to ask repeatedly. Drinking water, shampoo, and body wash all cost extra. The hotel looked attractive, but my room felt like a jail. And even though the monuments are close, the neighborhood itself felt bleak and lonely. It's mostly residential, with few nearby shops or restaurants, and not somewhere I'd want to spend time.

It was -24°C outside, but our room was wonderfully warm, and the price was reasonable at about $23 a night. The host was fantastic and welcoming, and they bake amazing pastries too. The location is close to Khan shatyr and other well-known places. We had a great stay, and I'd happily come back in summer. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Astana.

It's a clean, pleasant hotel within walking distance of several sights. The reception staff were friendly and helped me book a Yandex ride to the airport. Recommended!

The hostel is very clean, and the staff are both friendly and professional. There are two levels, and it's quiet despite being near a major street. It's tucked down an alley, though, and some Uber drivers may not know how to find it. I wish there had been more showers available. Some were being renovated during my stay, so there was a queue.

It's a clean, affordable hostel in a good spot, with friendly staff and a large kitchen. Finding it can be a little tricky. The bigger issue is the noise, since there doesn't seem to be much sound insulation. My windowless room also had no ventilation, so the air got stuffy. Even so, I felt it was worth staying here.
