The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable, but the hotel was a confusing experience. There was no heat, and they couldn't turn it on until two days later. The shower took about 20 minutes to get lukewarm, and again, staff said nothing could be done. It's in the old part of town, which I wouldn't visit for its own sake except for the HotSpot cafe/restaurant and the Bookshop/cafe. I would've paid extra to stay in another part of town.

The room itself was beautiful, but the hospitality was nowhere near what it should have been. They mention wifi five times in their ads, yet in practice it was intermittent at best, and only worked in one part of our room. They promised a modem, then said they couldn't find one. We were the only guests, which made me wonder whether they actually had one. The restaurant wasn't operating, except on Friday nights when they partied in the hotel halls where guests stay. Breakfast was cold, and there wasn't even a coffee machine. I read the reviews thinking people might have overreacted, but they understated how bad the management was. They lie. Can I give negative stars?

The rooms are very large and the price is low. They provide a free pocket wifi modem for use outside the hotel, bring breakfast to the room, and have a TV, fridge, and toiletries. On the downside, cleanliness could be better, the furniture is old, it's far from the city center, and hot water takes over 10 minutes to reach the shower.
