The building and amenities are outdated, and there’s no elevator despite the three floors. There’s no washing machine or toiletries, and the hot water was barely warm even though it was 14 F that day. The showerhead is very small and handheld. When I raised the elevator issue, the check-in clerk first raised her voice at me and said it was a two-floor building that didn’t need one. Then she gave me a key to a room on the third floor. When I pointed that out, she started yelling, as if everyone knows the first floor isn’t counted as a floor. Don’t come to this inn.

The breakfast was well organized, with food replenished regularly, so there was still plenty even when we came down late. Housekeeping came daily, bringing fresh water and toilet paper, and the rooms and hallways were smoke-free. The rooms were clean and had the essentials, including hygiene supplies, a bottle of water, a Tefal kettle, and a baby crib on request. The staff were very polite and ready to help. Guests seemed to include locals and foreigners, probably because there are many embassies nearby. We checked in at 1 p.m. and paid by card. The price was very budget-friendly, and we booked on a website with a 20% discount. The hotel is in a quiet residential area, with a 24/7 store and a halal kebab place nearby. Many attractions are close, including Hazret Sultan Mosque, which you can walk to. The downsides were a weak air conditioner and light coming into the room around 4 a.m. because the curtains were too thin or didn’t cover the window fully.

The hotel is small, cozy, and close to the US embassy, which was the main reason I chose it. The staff were very supportive, especially Azamat. Thank you for everything. One thing to know about payment: even if you book through booking.com, the hotel website, or another platform, you need a physical card to pay at the front desk. That was difficult because I booked for my parents while I was in another country, so I had to send the payment through PayPal. The staff were helpful in sorting it out.

The room was great, the staff were very friendly, and the cafe food was delicious. We stayed while visiting friends, and I’ll stay here again next time we come.

The Bistro /Cafe at Come Inn hotel is cozy, and the food is really good. I’ll definitely come back to try some of their other specialties.
