The staff were amazing, from the restaurant and bar team to the housemaids, concierge, and everyone providing support and service. I’ve stayed at plenty of top-rated hotels around the world, and the St Regis in Astana belongs among the best. Location was 4/5, amenities 5/5, rooms 5/5, bar 5/5, restaurant and food 4/5, concierge 5/5, restaurant and bar staff 5/5, housemaids 5/5, service and support 5/5. The only small annoyance was that the Asian fusion restaurant was closed Sunday through Tuesday, which I couldn’t understand. A few more choices on the standard menu would be nice too. Apart from that, the food was fantastic.

Set in a park beside the river, right in the middle of the city, the location is beautiful. The Italian executive chef serves a sophisticated menu rooted in Italian tradition, and the food selection is excellent. The rooms are better than those in hotels of the same level in Astana. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing breakfast and also tried the signature cocktail, the restaurants downstairs, and the afternoon tea. We were here for our honeymoon, and the stay felt really special. From start to finish, we felt welcome, the service was great, the rooms were well maintained, and anything we needed was taken care of. We’ll stay here on future trips to Astana.

Senior butler Anastassiya Abdulkhakimova deserves a special mention for making our stay extra special. The butler service was caring and wonderful, and the hotel staff were extremely warm and helpful. We had spacious rooms, lovely views, and good room service. Nothing more to ask for. I’d recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The food was delicious, and the rooms are luxurious and comfortable. I’m really enjoying my stay here. The service has been par excellence, especially from Senior Butler Anastassiya, who surprised me with some amazing Kazakh sweets and tea. ☺️
