The room was reasonably clean, but the windows let the wind through and made noise. Service needs work. The manager called at 11 PM to ask why we hadn't checked out yet, which was awful. The next morning, when we were leaving, we could hardly wake him, as though he'd been out all night.

The food was awful apart from the pancakes, and the staff were rude. I also found the service practically nonexistent, with receptionists who looked as if they'd just been picked up off the street. I've read the comments saying Korkem Hotel is good, but after staying there myself, I didn't like it and wouldn't recommend it.

It's affordable and clean, but the noise at night can make it impossible to sleep. Some of the guests yell, run through the halls, and slam doors all night. There are cameras and people trying to sleep, so why doesn't the administration do something about it? 🤦♂️

The set menu was 900 tenge, and the food was decent for the price, no complaints. I only stopped in while passing through for a bite, and they served me quickly. The place was clean and cozy, and the girl who served me was friendly and polite.

It's clean and comfortable, and I like that the room is non-smoking. But there was no kettle, tea mug, disposable tea or sugar, and no disposable toothbrush or shampoo. That's disappointing.
