My room was dirty and the beds weren’t very comfortable, though the Wi-Fi was OK and the staff spoke English. I only stayed in an emergency because of an overnight delay, and everything else worked OK.

Our foreign friends paid 106,000 rubles for two nights, and had to make up beds with torn linens themselves. The carpet was filthy and the plumbing in terrible shape. They also charged 24,000 rubles for early check-in, for what? This hotel is a disgrace to our city. Its appearance spoils the impression of the whole city and country. Guests shouldn’t have to stay in such disgusting conditions for that kind of money anywhere in the world.

We had a spacious triple room with good mattresses and everything we needed. It’s inside the airport building, though you have to go outdoors to reach it. We stayed in December during a blizzard, and the room was incredibly cold. I bundled up the kids and slept in a sweater, jacket, and gloves. There was a heater, but it was too small for the room and dried out the air. Sleeping with an electrical appliance on felt kind of... Maybe the smaller rooms weren’t as cold.
