The breakfast feels homely and is cooked to order. The restaurants are good too, especially Line Brew Reserve and Di Wang. I love the Veil, with its spacious, comfortable rooms, though it may take a while to get used to the ergonomics. Singaporean visiting Kazakhstan ))

The design and art make this a really interesting hotel, and staying here is an experience in itself. The rooms were spotless, the restaurants were nice, and breakfast was excellent. The rate was a bit high. My room got too hot, and there was no way to open the window. I complained several times and was told the A/C had a problem, but it wasn’t fixed while I was there. The front desk staff were supportive and professional, though, and offered to move me to a room where I could at least open the window. That partly helped. I’m giving it 5 stars because the employees were so professional and friendly.

The breakfasts were exceptional, and the attentive staff dealt quickly with anything I asked for, making the stay comfortable. I loved the hotel’s distinctive, interesting design too. I had a wonderful time here and highly recommend it.

The food was incredible, from breakfast to the Italian and Chinese restaurants. Breakfast was included, and we could choose three items. We hadn’t expected much, but it was delicious and kept us full until evening. We also got 15% off at the Chinese restaurant and 10% at the pizzeria. The room had lots of storage, a huge shower, floor-to-ceiling windows, a 10-foot ceiling, and was spacious and very well appointed. House coats, slippers, plenty of shower gels, two free bottles of water, and cookies were nice touches. The spa was free to use, with clean, well-designed Swedish, Turkish, and infrared saunas and a whirlpool. We’ve eaten at many high-end restaurants, and the service here was incomparable. This is one of the most unique and interesting hotels we’ve stayed in. No expense was spared, and the attention to detail, from the unusual building to the one-piece iron staircase, was incredible.

I can’t understand why some people write such miserable reviews about this place. It was the best hotel we stayed at in Kazakhstan, maybe even the best place we’ve ever stayed. Everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you to the employees, and especially the chefs. The food was exceptional!
