The location was good, right by the lake and close to a park. The room was basic but pleasant, with a good bed and a firm sofa bed. There was no hot water, and the staff seemed uninterested when we raised it. Breakfast cost an extra 600kzt, apparently because the room was only booked until morning. Is that a thing now? The breakfast itself was fine: fried eggs, bread, a little cheese, sausage, tomato and cucumber.

We liked the place, and the people were lovely. They didn't speak English, but we had fun using our translator, lol. The only issue was that someone walked into our room at 5.15 in the morning.

The rooms are nice and spacious, and breakfast is good. In the Balkhash region, this is actually the best accommodation you can find.

The apartment is very bad. The room, though, is normal for Balkhas city.

The location is convenient and close to Lake Balchasz, though access was blocked by a fence when we were there. I couldn't tell whether that was permanent or temporary renovation work. The price was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and clean, with all the appliances you need, and the bathroom is large and clean too.
