Hotel Zhansaya

The 10-day detox program was fantastic. We had specially prepared dietary meals rather than the standard meals served to regular guests, and everything was delicious. Doctors and nurses are always available. The food and service were great, and all the staff were so positive. I love everyone. 😽

The private parking was a real advantage since we came by car. There’s also a barbecue area in the courtyard where you can buy meat and charcoal and cook. Wi-Fi was just as important, since it’s how I’m writing this review. Food at the hotel is affordable compared with the street food courts. I hope this helps people planning a trip, because there isn’t much information or many reviews about the resort. I first spotted the hotel six years ago, on my first visit, when I stayed in a private hotel across the fence. The guys there spoke well of it, so we checked, but it was fully booked for the next two weeks. Years later, with Turkey unrealistically affordable and our southern region incredibly expensive, I was craving a holiday and remembered how great Kazakhstan is. We’re neighbors, and I’m from Tyumen. While choosing a hotel, the only one I could remember was Zhansai. I worried things might have gone downhill, but they hadn’t, and Burabay has flourished. The hotel is nice, the service is good, and the staff are helpful and accommodating. I only rated the room 4 because there’s no balcony, though I probably had a standard room. It was clean and had a double bed and a single bed, toilet, shower, hairdryer, TV, kettle, and a fantastic big refrigerator that could fit water, a watermelon, and more.

For a family holiday, this place was just right. We’ve been to Borovoe many times and always seemed to run into some problem, but this time we were completely satisfied. The food, service, cleanliness, and friendly staff were all top-notch. There were no drunk, shouting neighbors, no one drinking there, and no discos in the courtyard in the middle of the night. The atmosphere was respectable and dignified, perfect for a family vacation. A huge thank you to everyone at this wonderful hotel.

The staff were attentive and helpful, and the sheets and towels were fresh, with daily cleaning. It’s a wellness-focused hotel, and the chef makes delicious, healthy food. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in Burabay.
