Dinner was a strong point: the beshbarmak was delicious, as were the salads, and the sea buckthorn tea was excellent. The beef stroganoff tasted good too, though it was a bit greasy. Everything felt homemade. Breakfast was also tasty, with scrambled eggs and ham, bread, butter, cheese, and coffee. The hotel is warm and cozy, the bed is comfortable, and there's hot water. There's a large parking area, though I think low cars may have trouble getting in. A few things could be better. The towels smelled a little damp, as if they hadn't dried properly. The room was very dark, with thick dark curtains and tulle over the windows. There weren't enough outlets, so bring a multi-plug adapter. Shampoo and shower gel come in very limited disposable packets; dispensers in the shower would work better, like the soap dispenser. Prices are high, as they are across Kazakhstan. My room with breakfast cost 13,500 tenge. I would still recommend staying here! 👍

We ordered shorpa for dinner, and the portions were generous. It tasted just like home. The room was warm, breakfast was included, and the prices were reasonable. The shower was clean, and the white towels and bed linen smelled fresh. I'm thrilled with the place and recommend it to everyone!

I wouldn't recommend this place to people looking for a regular hotel stay. It feels more like a sauna, with women arriving by taxi and disappearing inside until 3-4 a.m. There's music, dampness, mold, and cockroaches in the rooms. The kitchen is on the first floor, the sauna on the second, and the rooms on the third. The parking is handy, and there's a supermarket across the street. Mir cards are supposedly accepted, but they don't work. And if you're thinking of opening an account, don't bother: since April 1st, they have only been opening accounts for students, or for people with an employment contract from a Kazakh employer.

I'm staying here again, and everything is fine. I'd ask the hotel management to consider charging half a night's rate for arrivals after 11:00 PM.
