Hayat Hospitality Oskemen Hotel

They say this is the best hotel in Okemen. If so, that's a tragedy. The internet barely worked, and when it did it was painfully slow and unusable. Before I could even tell the staff, I found the hot water was barely warm too. I wouldn't have stayed if the hotel had warned there'd be no usable internet or hot water. After we complained to reception and I spoke with the manager, we were moved and given a fruit basket, thanks? The new room had the exact same problems. The manager said there were water works nearby, so hot water wasn't available, but guests had been given no warning by email or signage. The internet, apparently, was for their tech department to deal with. When we were leaving, I asked reception if I could briefly use the gym scales to weigh our luggage. They told us to carry everything across the hotel to the gym, past a conference in progress and people working out, just to weigh it. Dirty room-service plates were left in the hallway for over 24 hours. For a hotel charging us about 150 USD a night, I can't warn people strongly enough to skip this place. The management here is incompetent, to say the least.

Good.

The staff are warm and polite, and the rooms feel cozy. I always enjoy staying at this hotel, and the breakfasts are tasty too. Would recommend it 🌸👍🏻
