It was spotless and well cared for, with a roomy bedroom, big beds under mosquito nets, and generous balconies. Baba was a kind host and around whenever we needed anything. We liked being in a quieter part of the island, and the new road made cycling over to Don Khone easy. There are some nice breakfast places close by too.

We got a clean, comfortable room for good value, and there really wasn't a downside. Baba is lovely, and the place is clearly looked after well. After seeing some of the other accommodation on the island, I think we got lucky. Breakfast isn't included, which would be a nice addition, but there are plenty of cafes nearby. It would have been great to eat on the balcony.

The water view is gorgeous, and the bright rooms are nicely furnished. Beds are as firm as people say, though we found them comfortable. There's a fridge in the room, and you can ask for a kettle and cups. A big bottle of water and toilet paper were left each day. Housekeeping was organized and thorough, with cleaning done when we left the key. Mosquito net already in place. For exploring, bicycles are available at the neighboring house for 30,000 kip a day, including trips to the next island.

Quiet spot, with bike hire and restaurants nearby. The room had air con and a fridge, and the guesthouse does laundry for a good price. Every morning there was a litre bottle of water and a fresh toilet roll outside the door. It was very clean, and we liked the super firm mattress. The mosquito net is a must so close to the Mekong.

I love Don Det, and this hotel felt so cozy it reminded me of my grandparents' home, haha. The view is great and getting to the ferry is really easy since it's close by. Best of all, there's air conditioning. I can't get through summer without it.
