My partner and I appreciated that the room was clean and nice, and the stay itself was good. The payment situation was awful, though. We had paid cash upfront, but later the staff said we hadn't paid. They didn't listen when we tried to explain, and even laughed at us. We ended up paying twice, which felt really unfair and brought my rating down to two stars. We expected better service and understanding. A very unfortunate experience.

NaNa Cafe and Restaurant, right on the street in front of this Guest House, was superb. I went at least once a day during my four days on Don Khon. The local dishes were delicious and very reasonably priced, and I also recommend the tuna sandwiches and lattes. I didn't find a better cafe or restaurant.

The food is really tasty, the view is great, and the staff are friendly and happy to help with anything. Nana is a wonderful hostess who speaks English very well. We also booked our bus tickets to Cambodia at the guesthouse. And if you're after good coffee, this is the place.

The rooms cost 50.000kip and come with a private bathroom, hot shower, mosquito net, hammock, and comfy beds. You can get a decent sunset view without walking to the best spot if you're feeling lazy. It's a pretty nice place, though there's an ugly wall right in front of the rooms and I couldn't figure out what it was for, so I just had to ignore it. The WiFi wasn't very reliable either, but who cares?

I spent two nights here in a riverfront room with AC, for 125 per night. Everything was clean and worked, and the bed was comfy. The staff speak okay English and were very helpful with tips on getting around. The food, fruit shakes, and coffee were all good.
